Our Extra Special Bitter, or E.S.B., is a hop-accented, copper colored ale with fresh hop flavors and a hint of sweet malt. The color comes from generous amounts of carmelized malt, while the Goldings, Hallertauer & Willamette hops provide the balancing bitterness. The 2010 E.S.B. is dry-hopped with whole leaf Centennial hops for an extra crisp flavor.
