Beer KC is partnering with Aids Walk KC for our first ever Craft Beer Festival! On Saturday, June 4th join us in the McCoy's / Foundry parking lot from 1:00 - 4:00 to sample over 40 different beers from local & national craft breweries. Each brewery will be bringing in a seasonal or year-round beer plus one "special beer", so this will be a great opportunity to try some unique beers that are not regularly available to the KC market.
Featuring 19 breweries, here are just a few of the brews confirmed so far:
- Ommegang / Chouffe Gnomegang
- Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale
- Ska Barrel-Aged Nefarious
- Schlafly American IPA
- Schlafly Biere de Garde
- Goose Island Fleur
- Free State firkin TBA
- Tallgrass firkin TBA
UPDATE: Kansas City's newest brewery Doodle Brewing Co. will be pouring their Doodle Dubbel and another beer TBA!
UPDATE #2: New York's Southern Tier Brewing Co. will be also be on hand pouring Oak-aged UnEarthly, Gemini, Ja*vah & IPA!
UPDATE #3: Unfortunately, Oregon's Deschutes Brewery will not have TTB label approval for Missouri until after this event, so we regret to inform you that Deschutes will not pouring beers. Damn!
UPDATE #4: Boulevard Brewing Co. will be pouring 2011 Saison-Brett & a test batch of their Belgian-style Dubbel!
Tickets are available at all 3 Beer KC restaurants for $25, which includes tasting glass & unlimited samples at this rain or shine event. Check back for specific beer updates as they become available. Cheers!
